Vehicle and Lorry Marshalling
The Vehicle and Lorry Marshalling programme is designed for those responsible for supervising the movement of vehicles and pedestrians safely on and around a site.
The aim of this course is to provide delegates with a thorough understanding of the hazards caused by moving vehicles on a site and how to provide and maintain safe access routes for both pedestrians and vehicles, through the implementation of the correct control measures in order to reduce risks to their safety.

By the end of the course delegates will be expected to:

1. Identify hazards associated with moving and directing vehicles and the reasonably foreseeable risks.
2. Manage risk control.
3. Select the correct safety equipment and/or vehicles required to do the job safely and carry out appropriate pre-use checks.
4. Use safe driving and work ethics to ensure that both employees and the public are free from harm when moving vehicles in and around a site.
5. Conduct clear and concise signals to drivers of vehicles on a site.
