From our earliest beginnings we aimed to be a paperless organisation. Our business utilised online documentation and the cloud long before it was known as such. This helps as we continually striving to reduce our impact on the environment. As well as striving to be paper free, we look to use information technology to replace those aspects of business typically done using paper and mail. We only travel when absolutely necessary, our employees can seamlessly work from home using IP phones and web-conferencing and our clients receive electronic statements and certificates which historically would have been sent by post.
We are committed to not discriminating against age, race or gender and we want our workforce to reflect the diversity of our customers. Where possible, we operate a flexible working policy (including home-working) and have an ongoing investment in the continual training of our staff. Our graduate and apprenticeship schemes have seen the introduction of more than a dozen recruits from these channels and we actively encourage our staff to embrace the research and development aspects of our business
By operating a truly nationwide network of over 200 training centres, we ensure that our customers get the course they require, on the date requested and at a venue most convenient to them. We continually monitor the market and ensure that our prices remain competitive and we always strive to offer the best value for money. All those in our partner network undergo a rigorous and regular quality assurance process. This is to ensure that our partners meet the same high standard of delivery, health and safety, corporate responsibility and training ability standard to that of ourselves. Our major platforms of elearning.co.uk, TrainingDirectory.co.uk and XYZ.co.uk as well as over 100 course specific websites receive over 5 million unique visitors per annum, it is essential therefore that in receiving more than 5000 new enquiries per month, creating over 1000 new business requests, that right throughout the training cycle, the service is both consistent and excellent.
We have an ongoing programme of donating to good causes and charities and we also encourage staff to both do the same and get involved in money-raising activities. For a long time we have been avid supporters of investing in our younger people this includes our continual investment in supporting the local apprenticeship schemes for 16-18-year-olds and working with our local college.
